Empire-line dress with full skirt, fitted to the waist, with decorative contrast lace-up panel at the bust, frilled straps with lace trim, and ruffled hem with contrast frill layer. Lacing panel is edged with cotton Valenciennes and Venise lace, skirt ruffle with Venise rosebud trim, and the skirt is bordered with narrow scalloped Cluny trim. The back has elastic shirring, adjustable lacing and ribbon tie.
